If you don't want to pay for Pro features of Sketchup 8 but are in need of the boolean features that it offers, you may want to check out the free plugin called OSCoolean.
It's still in beta but looks as if it can be a great alternative to dropping a lot of cash for one Pro feature.

I just downloaded the OScoolean.zip file and moved it to the Sketchup8 plugins folder and expanded the zip file. But when I start SU8 there are no OScoolean tools to be found. Ideas...?

Try unzipping the files into the "tools" folder.
ReplyAny idea if this works with Sketchup 2014, or an alternative (that isn't pro). I tried plugins and tools folders and can't get it to work.
ReplyGo to "View" then "Toolbars" and check OS Coolean
